1.4 AI-Powered Translation
AI-powered translation is an optional feature available only to Premium users.
When a Premium user requests a translation, the selected message text and target language are transmitted securely to the OpenAI API. The selected text may include a message written by another participant in the conversation.
We do not intentionally include names, user IDs, profile information, location data, photos, or the complete conversation history in a translation request.
This information is used solely to provide the requested translation and is not used by us for advertising or user profiling.
OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default. However, OpenAI may retain API request and response data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and security purposes, unless longer retention is required by law.
Users may choose not to use the translation feature and may continue using the other features of the app.
2. Purpose of Personal Information Collection and Use
- Member Management: Identity verification, prevention of fraudulent use, inquiry response
- Matching and Location-based Services: Recommendation of nearby users, distance calculation
- Advertising and Marketing: Personalized ad exposure, event notifications (only for consenting users)
- Service Improvement: Statistical analysis, new feature development
- AI-Powered Translation: Providing a translation only when a Premium user requests it
3. Retention and Use Period
Immediately destroyed upon member withdrawal (However, may be retained for the required period according to relevant laws such as e-commerce)
- Contract/withdrawal records: 5 years
- Electronic financial transaction records: 5 years
- Log records: 3 months
4. Third-party Provision of Personal Information
We do not provide users' personal information to external parties as a general rule. However, it may be provided only when users have given prior consent or when required by law.

7. Overseas Transfer
Firebase, AdMob, and OpenAI may process data outside the user's country, including in the United States. OpenAI receives selected message text and the target language only when a Premium user chooses to use translation. Users may refuse this optional transfer by not using translation and may continue using the app's other features.
